Libbi needed to get outside. She had grown tired of her dorm, and indoors in general. She didn't even both to change her clothes. It was starting to grow dark, but who cared? She loved sunset anyway.
She found her way through the halls and outside. The magnificent fountain no longer caught her attention as much. She still liked to look at it though. The sound of the fountain floated through the air, along with some birds still chirping, created a peaceful ambience.
There were a few picnic tables set out, and she picked on and sat down on the wooden bench and leaned against the table top, staring up into the sky. Libbi let her thoughts wonder from topic to topic, but never stayed on one for too long.
Before she knew it, the night sky had fallen and little stars dotted the sky. The moon cast an eerie glow around everything. Excpet for the fountain, which could easily be classified as the academy's own personal sun. Libbi hated to be outside at night by herself. At least at they Myer's house she had someone with her.
She glanced around nervously, her breathing increased slightly. Hell, I'm going to be the newest resident in the asylum if I keep it up. Libbi thought, trying to calm down. Then she heard footsteps behind her and she whirled around to see who it was. But she couldn't really see their face.

Jack was no stranger to the dark, ever since his brother died he’d been making a habit of being out late, only it wasn’t as depressing as you might think. Whenever Jack was in the dark he was either making his way towards a nightclub, a ‘friends’ house, the Myers place for Lockdown or returning from all of those things. In this case however it was a little different what he was up to now, because the truth was he’d just snuck home to collect a bag full of things from his old room that would come in handy at the school. Going to his house in the middle of the night was the best thing to do; his dad would be asleep so there would be little confrontation. But now as he crossed the grounds his eyes fell upon Libbi, a member of Lockdown. He didn’t know her too well but he’d never really thought too much of her either. Still though everyone was entitled to one scare and Jack was known to be a jackass. Quietly he began to walk towards her hoping that she wouldn’t reach him, only as soon as he thought that it appeared that she had, and her actions reflected that as she turned to look at him. But it was dark and he wondered if she could see him. As he put on a voice, Jack had to do everything to hide his bubbling smirk, ”If you don’t walk I’ll cut your guts out... and then sell them... to Hannibal Lecter.” Jack threatened, although it was an idol threat he would love to see her running away, crying and terrified. She would never live that down and he would make sure that everyone would know about that too. ”Are you gonna run, or do I have to chase you?” he went on, as long as he stayed back and tried to disguise his voice then she would never know right? But he’d never been so good at acting and his reputation was really quite strong. He would be a big contender.

She could tell that the person was definitely male, and they voice gave him away. Libbi squinted her eyes. He looked...familiar almost. Did she know him? For all she knew, he could be the infamous Michael Myers. But probably not.
The male told her to walk, or he would cut her guts out and sell them to Hannibal Lecter. But they paused, as if thinking. This definitely was someone playing a prank on her. She should know, her brother tortures her all the time.
"Neither." She said, her voice smooth. Ah, she had a good idea who it was if this was a prank, Jack Banner. Another member of Lockdown. And she hadn't really liked him. He was cocky and arrogent. Two of her least favorite traits in anyone. But they never really talked, so it was alright.
Libbi didn't really know what to do. So she turned back around. "Did you honestly think I would be one to run away...Jack?" She asked, trying to make her voice sound as if she had known it was him the whole time. And she really hoped she was right. If it wasn't, she would be totaly embarassed, and in a crap ton of trouble.

Jack watched her, the smirk growing on his face as he awaited her reaction in anticipation. He was excited to watch her run away, to listen to her scream as she thought someone was actually chasing her who could actually hurt her. It was all very amusing to him, very much so. Jack wiped at his brow as if to rid himself of a none existent headache, his night vision forcing itself to work through the darkness, to take photos of her through his memory, and then to force them onto Theo. Jack was always trying to mention Libbi to Theo, if only to tease him or to try and force him into admitting that he liked her. To Jack Libbi was little more than a joke to throw at his enemy, and to throw at herself. ”That’s very foolish,” Jack said cooly, although he was actually hoping that this was just bluff, and that soon she’d be crying. Maybe it would work out better if he had a mask, people in Haddonfield seemed to love masks.
And then he was busted. Jack groaned as she said his name and easily walked into her view, scowling. Definitely next time he would use a mask. ”Well I hoped. But I guess I’m just a hard guy to run from, huh,” Jack said with a small laugh, it was a fitting excuse he mused to himself. Jack approached her and put his arm around her shoulders. This was the closest he’d ever gotten to Libbi, he was very sure of it. Although Jack was often close to females and her skin was just as soft as any other so he felt quite comfortable in this positioning with her. ”I do think you would run though, I think you all would run, except for me and maybe John.” Jack admitted as he made an attempt to wind her up, just the way he’d tried to do the same with Theo. He was always looking for people’s reactions, to stir something new from them. Now that he hadn’t scared her he was sure he could annoy her. ”You’re all cowards anyway, aren’t you Laura?” he said with a small laugh as he purposefully said the wrong name. Jack began to walk, his arm still draping her slender form.

Libbi couldn't help but grin slightly as he groaned. He wasn't exactly her most favorite person, to say the least. Not that she really knew him, but she had heard some gossip. "Sure. That's it." Libbi said sarcastically. It wasn't that she was being mean, she was a smart-ass with everyone.
She was so close to shrugging off his arm, but what exactly was it hurting? Of course she would run. "I don't know. I might get a burst of courage." Libs said shrugging slightly. Libbi wasn't here to get rumors going around about her, and she certainly wouldn't give Jack anything to use against her.
Had he just called her Laura? Jack knew who she was. Libbi rolled her eyes. "It's not funny. You know my name." She said, finally getting sick of his arm resting over her shoulders and shrugged it off. How could girls stand him? Then again, they probably didn't know half of what he actually did. With being part of Lockdown and all.
But she was going to try to be civil tonight. No sense getting in a arguing match with him. After all, one member of Lockdown hated you, they all pretty much would. "So. What have you been up to tonight?" Libbi asked, as if she really was interested.

Jack sighed, a burst of courage what rubbish. But he’d never seen Libbi cry, it was almost as if she had to cry just because he’s never seen it. It wasn’t that seeing someone cry was something that particularly appealed to him, he wasn’t that mean it was just that he didn’t want to be the only one suffering and he felt like he was. No one else seemed to be affected by the pain he felt, and no one really cared. His brother was forever in his thoughts, forever interrupting his day, but no one else felt that. No one else understood and he craved that bit company to support him.
”Haha, right, sorry I forgot your name actually!” he hissed, although she was very true. He did know her name, it was hard to forget a member of Lockdown’s name, they were always there. Even when you didn’t want them to be they managed to find a way into your life, and they shared a lot with each other. Jack was constantly sighing over the amount of things he and the members of Lockdown had in common. Out of everyone he knew from school the only ones he’d remember would be these folks he spent his Friday nights with, and that was kind of special in a sad, sad way. He could never be friends with them yet something held them together which was stronger than friendship, it was almost like family. ”Chasing cars and the like. How about you?” Jack enquired with a small chuckle as he eyed her suspiciously. ”Surely a young girl like yourself couldn’t be wandering around the grounds for no reason. Are you stalking me?”

He was really getting on her nerves now. Libbi wasn't in the mood for his endless talking and nonsense. Tonight she was hoping she could just zone out, but no, she had to meet him. And it wasn't like she could just stay away from him. He was in lockdown as well. Luckily she wasn't stuck with him to often. Libbi remembered someone telling him about his brother being killed, and like everyone who had close, or knew someone that had gotten killed by Michael Myers, they wanted sweet revenge. Then Libbi felt sorry for him, but if he wasn't such a jerk all the time things might be different.
"Whatever. For entertainment purposes, it's Libbi." She snarled back. Libs would go along with his little game for a while, but she was going to let him know she didn't like it. Then she began to wonder if he didnt' like her as much as she didn't like him. After all, she had gotten into Lockdown as a bribe. She had agreed to do Theo's homework and help him and in turn she would get into Lockdown. At first it had been weird and awkward, but Libbi payed close attention, and didn't forget anything she heard. "Too bad you wouldn't have gotten hit." Libbi said sarcastically, but slightly serious.
"I wasn't. I wanted some peace and quiet, well obviously that's not going to happen is it?" Libbi directed at Jack. So much for just a nice, quiet night just sitting outside thinking about nothing in particular. But he had to come out. It couldn't have been someone decent like Theo, or someone else that wasn't Jack.

Jack laughed quietly, he knew he was annoying at the least or upsetting to some others, he was sure that only hardcore jocks whose egos presented themselves as big as him actually got on with him, and of course his girlfriend when they weren’t arguing and other preppies. And the girls he was sleeping with. That was all that pretty much seemed able to stand him, yet he couldn’t contain having a snap in his step as he attempted beyond attempts to upset and aggravate people into a strong response. ”Libbi. You’ll have to write that one down,” He sneered. Of course he knew her name, and everyone knew his name whether they wanted to or not. Jack was an easy name to remember, as for his middle name however less people knew it. ”I’m Alec, I don’t think we’ve met before... only I’m sure I’ve caught you watching me,” he responded with a dramatic wink. He did like his name, Jack, Alec and his surname. He loved his surname, it was a sporting surname he liked to think.
Jack shook his head and rolled his eyes, ”I thought you said you were supposed to be smart! I was chasing cars, not running into them, but I appreciate the death sentiments,” he cooed sarcastically. He was sure he couldn’t be that hated but in a popularity contest with his brother Jack would’ve lost so maybe there was some vulgar hates towards him simply for the fact that it wasn’t him who took the dash. He usually tried not to think about those types of opinions, like Theo’s opinion. And if Sam was still alive he probably wouldn’t be in the same way as Jack was right now because Sam was Jack’s idol, Jack was just his little brother. He watched Libbi’s irritated expression. ”Always so serious, always so bitter. What’s your demons, what do you have to be bitter about?” he teased her, only trying to aggravate her more. He shrugged lightly. ”I am peace and quiet, let me take you to my bachelor pad and I’ll prove it to you,”

Libbi would've loved to hit him or something, but that wasn't how you made friends, especially when that person was part of a group you were in as a favor. "Well, I'll just have to remind you at the next time we see each other won't I?" She said, letting all emotion drain from her voice. No sense giving him the satisfaction of hearing her feel annoyed. Although she was sure he knew by now.
Alec? "So then you must have changed your name in the course of a couple days then." She said, still no emotion in her voice. She learned from the best, her mom. Libbi laughed. "Watching you? We wouldn't be sitting here if it weren't for Lockdown. And you know you wouldn't give me the time of day." Libbi said honestly. She would surely stay away from him, and she already tried, but it didn't seem to be working.
"Well, one could've come up behind you or something." Libbi paused. "And you're welcome. Anytime." She continued sarcastically, rolling her eyes. He thought she was bitter, serious? "Honestly, probably nothing worth being bitter about." Libbi was strong enough to admit that. She was mostly mad at herself, and her mom, and she carried a strong resentmen towards her brother.
Now she was revolted. "No. I refuse to go anywhere with you." Of course everyone knew he was the biggest player on campus. Libbi might be easily swayed to do things, but she definitely wouldn't go anywhere with Jack. Not after the rumors she'd heard.

Jack rolled his eye at Libbi, apparently she hadn’t Wikipedia-d him then. He’d added a page for himself the other month but so far it only had three views and all of those were from him viewing to see if anyone had viewed. ”Alec is my middle name, duh!” Jack snarled as he dropped the act of not knowing her name. ”Haven’t you like stalked me enough already? I have myspace, facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Youtube, aim, msn... there’s enough sites to chose from, and of course you could have hacked into the college computers to check out my information. I mean what the fuck is it with you anyway?” He went on, acting highly insulted that she didn’t know his middle name. ”I mean do you even know my age? Or my last name. You’re a disgrace.” he toyed as he stood a defensive stance.
She was highly aggravating him as she laughed, caring so little. She lowered his status dramatically. He blinked, ”That’s not the point. I am giving you the time of day, so you should be appreciating it. I mean... why wouldn’t you?” he asked as he scowled. Jack tilted his head to the side as he eyed her carefully. She wasn’t like people, or more she was but Jack didn’t think of her to be like people because he liked to think that people wanted him. ”No I’m good at dodging cars too,” he continued with a small shrug. Jack found himself raising his eyebrows as she refused to go anywhere with him. He found that slightly confusing because why wouldn’t she not want to go anywhere with him? ”Don’t you find me attractive?” Jack asked her curiously. ”Is that why you wouldn’t go somewhere with me? What don’t you like about me?” he enquired.

Who did he think he was, rolling his eyes at her. Of course she rolled her eyes at people all the time. He actually looked offended the she didn't know Alec was actually his middle name. How the hell was she supposed to know? "Oh, then what's my middel name, smart one?" Libbi snorted.
Now she actually had to force herself not to yell. "If I would've been stalking you, I wouldn't known Alec was your middle name. And it sounds like you need to get a life." Libbi said through clenched teeth. Her voice was now exasperated. Couldn't he just leave her alone?
"You know what, fuck you." Libbi said giving him the most sharpest glare she could muster, which even scared her little brother sometimes. "Why? Because I'm the first person to not like you? Get a grip Jack." Libs continued.
She shook her head and laughed, actually laughed. "You aren't the ugliest guy here, but I just don't find you that attractive." She said honestly adding a shrug. "Because, like I said, you're self centered and full of it, and you expect people to automatically like you." Libbi said shaking her head. He was really that clueles.

Jack raised an eyebrow up at her, letting out a mocking laugh. ”Libs, babe, why would I cyber stalk you? You’d be lucky if I even declined your friend request, I’d block you if you even tried.” Jack stated like any other egotistic male. But then again he did like having his friend count high so he probably would have accepted her but he wouldn’t have told her that, that would ruin his insult. ”Anyway you don’t even have a middle name, because you’re not good enough. People don’t address you anyway, there’s no need, certainly no need to have three names to be worn out. You’re just like faded.” he pointed out.
Jack took a step back from her as she told him to get a life, she was probably right but he didn’t appreciate being told it by some girl who was merely normal, what was normal anyway? ”I have a life. I’m on so many social networking sites because I have such a big social network. DUH!” That word, tonight at least, was beginning to become his trademark word. He was using it so frequently with Libbi, treating her like she dumb which was ironic because she was really smart.
”Oh you don’t like me? Broke my heart!” he mocked dramatically, as he scowled at her glare. She had the type of face to glare with, it seemed as though a glare suited her well. Quite fitting. ”If you liked me I’d tear my face off just so you didn’t. You repulse me.” Once more with the annoying laughing thing. Why did she keep laughing, it made him self conscious. He pursed his lips angrily and looked at her, unimpressed. However as she smoke a smile instantly broke out onto his face. ”Really? I’m not the ugliest guy around here. Shucks I already knew that but thanks anyway,” he responded happily, happily ignoring the fact that she hadn’t found him attractive. He would bring that up later. ”I’m really not self centred! Most people do like me, that’s all... I still don’t understand why you don’t.” He admitted sheepishly. Maybe he was finally getting through to her, he wondered.

Libbi almost threw up when he called her babe. "And you're lucky I know your first name." She retorted. If she didn't like someone, it was for a good reason. Libbi usually got on well with almost everyone. But then there were people like Jack. "You're just mad because I don't like you. Because I'm the only girl who doesn't want to screw you." She said bluntly. Since when was Libbi Stevense one to hide her thoughts?
"Yeah, whatever, keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better." Libbi said as she looked away from him and studied one of her nails, the polish had peeled off. She was ready for a new color anyway. She was thinking black, or maybe something bright like orange. Everytime he said duh, she wanted to punch him in the face, and of course he could probably tell that too.
He'd rip his face off? Wasn't that a tad dramatic? "Good. Then I won't have to stare at your ugly face everyday." Libbi said. "Well, we're even then because you repulse me as well. In fact, when I see you coming, I want to stick pencils in my eyes so I won't have to look at you." Of course that was being over dramatic as well, but she thought it fitting for the conversation.
"Well, you need to prove it Jack because to me, you're nothing more than a conceited pig. You just said you would rip your face off if I liked you!" Libbi said forcefully, rolling her eyes. No, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing her emotions. She tried to hide them but knew her anger was already out in the open.

”Don’t you flatter yourself,” Jack growled, he didn’t know who this girl thought she was. What was so special about her? He found that he could only list things that we’re mediocre about her, not good. She was hardly anything exceptional, it wasn’t like she was going to make anything of herself. He rolled his eyes, ”You’re so egotistic! What makes you so good to like me? Your taste is clearly in the dumps anyway, I bet you fancy Sean or Damien or something,” Jack glowered. She had to, if she didn’t like him it was the only reason, surely.
Jack glared a death glare at her as she called him ugly. Well he would go and call her ugly right back, there was no getting away with it. ”You’re uglier than me. God made me for girls to want me and boys to want to be me. I’m the bar everyone wants to reach, that not many people can!” Jack teased, although he was half believing that he meant it. Maybe he did believe it to an extent but then he also knew that he was full of crap half the time too, but Jack did have a large ego when it came to his appearance, and his status. ”That’s not even true. You know that, why do you say stuff like that?” Jack argued. She always seemed to have some smart comment, it was like she was always battling something and she took it out on everyone. ”I swear there’s something wrong with you, you’re always such a bitch. Why, Libbi? WHY?!” He scolded. Jack felt his fury rise as he advanced on her. ”A pig, do I fucking look like a pig, Libbi!” It was strange shouting at her in the dark but Jack knew he had to do something, she wasn’t allowed to talk to him like that. ”You better watch your mouth, Libbi, I’m not going to hurt you but if I told Larrissa what you’re saying she would make your life Hell, so watch!”
Jack sighed as he slouched, watching her. "Don't be so defensive. Why don't you come back to my dorm? Theo's there and we all know you have your wet dreams about him." Jack teased with a roll of his eye. He did not understand woman's fascination with Theo.

Libbi glowered at him. It wasn't that she didn't like him, she didn't like the way he acted. "Me!? Hah! Why can't you just accept the fact I don't want you?" She spat furiously. Maybe they could've been on friendlier terms, but not now, not ever more than likely. "No I don't. I like someone else. Everyone knows who I fucking like, it isn't a secret." She hissed. Gossip was a horrid horrid thing.
Her eyes rolled, and she thought they were going to stick like that. "I don't want you." She stated honestly. Libbi couldn't wait to see his reaction to that. Of course she knew she was being out of line, and she honestly didn't know why she said stuff like that. He was right, it wasn't true. Had she just thought Jack was right?
"Because! You don't know anything about me." She whispered. Not here, she couldn't break down, she wouldn't. "No you don't! I don't know why I say things, or act the way I do!" She yelled, then paused, "There! Are you happy Jack?" Libbi asked furiously, then shook her head. "I'm sick of arguing, I'm sick of fighting, you win Jack. Laugh in my face all you want." It was true, this isn't what she wanted at all. Her ears perked as he spoke. "You must not have heard. We're flat mates Jack. Me, you, Theo, and Ashley, one big happy family." Libbi said laughing. That ought to make his day.
