Hayven made her way into the Myer's Nightclub, with relative ease. She of course was under age, but she had gotten a close fake I.D. a few months back, though the girl had longer hair and was a little skinner, she still managed to pass it off. Most of that stuff was cosmetic anyways, so they didn't think twice about letting her in.
Her eyes scanned over the crowd, looking for those who she knew or thought she knew until they landed on a girl smoking a cigarette.
"Nasty." Hayven made her way over to the corner where the girl held up the wall and then made a light coughing noise. She was here to enjoy herself and here this lady was polluting the place up and ruining everyone's clothing.
"You know, not all of us are fans of cancer." Hayven's dark eyes narrowed as she turned to face the girl now, crossing her arms over her chest.
The girl rolled her eyes and sighed, turning her back to Hayven to continue conversing with her friends.
"Maybe you didn't get my hint the first time." Hayen put her hand on her shoulder and pulled the girl around to face her.
"You might think smoking looks cool, but it actually makes you look like a dumb ass who cares less about their health and the health of others. Plus with a semi pretty face like yours, it will only make you look about ten years older in a couple of years. My suggestion, buy a patch." Hayven let go of the girl's shoulder as the girl looked down at her cigarette then at Hayven.
With a small laugh she threw a punch in the air and smack dab into Hayven's jaw. Her head tilted backwards, her long brown hair spilling in every direction it could. Perhaps she deserved the punch for being too opinionated and nosy, but she didn't want to be on an inhaler for a habit she didn't put on herself.
Hayven saw the girl go to shove her away from her, when one of Hayven's hands went out to stop the girl, the other on her long thing blond hair. She yanked it down and pulled the girl close to her.
"You're quite the slugger. Finish your stick of cancer, hope you like eating applesauce." She pushed the girl away from her and made her way to the bar before they were kicked out of it.

Theo was easily known for being underage, by the fact that most towns folk knew him as being on the football team. Nevertheless he was armed with a fake I.D, and getting into a club had never been easier. His I.D. had him named as Jacob. If anyone asked, he was Theo's none existant older brother. The doormen hardly looked at the I.D, too busy eyeing up the girls in their none existant clothes.
He made his way to the bar, smiling at several people who greeted him. He tried not to breath in through the clouds of cigarette smoke which encircled the air. The music was loud and the beat was rythmic.
Theo ordered a beer, and took a swig from the cool bottle allowing the icy cold liquid to flow down his throat. He smiled setting the bottle on the bar, as he glanced around looking for anyone he knew.
His eyes were averted to some scuffle that was going on in the corner. He squinted slightly almost sure Hayven had just been smacked in the jaw. He smiled as Hayven retaliated. She was a fighter. He only really knew her through his best friend John, and her involvement in Lockdown, but they weren't really friends. Theo knew she still had feelings for John, and he knew she was pretty opinionated. He was quite intuitative and he knew not to ruffle her feathers. But in reality they were somewhat strangers.
He watched from a distance as she made her way to the bar, and instinctively he followed her. He stopped a meter of so away, as to not get on her nerves. "Hey Hayven. You okay? That looked nasty." He asked her cautiously, running his hand over his head as he took a drink. "Lemme buy you a drink. I hate smoking too."

Hayven heard a male's voice before she looked to see who it was, a but surprised actually. Hayven shrugged her shoulders and looked at Theo as he mentioned what had happened looked nasty.
"Not as nasty as her lungs will look in ten years from now." The girl had a good punching arm on her, she could still feel where she got hit at. "But, I think I'm okay. Nothing feels broken." Hayven grabbed at her face and then let it go. "What do you think?" She looked at Theo not certain what he might say, but if he said she looked like shit, she might go on a tangent.
Hayven smiled when he offered to buy her a drink, surprised again. Most guys in school wouldn't have even offered, most thought she was almost less than human. "Yeah, that'd be great." If she sounded excited in her tone it was because she was.
"What ever you're buying, I'm drinking." Hayven wasn't picky when it came to alcohol, some were better than others but they all did what they were supposed to do. Relax a person and make them forget about stupid shit.
Her head tilted to the side when he mentioned how he hated smoking, but realized that he was in the jocks crowd and that most of them treated their bodies like pillars of godliness or something.
"Then maybe even a dance later, as a thank you for buying me a drink and checking up on me." Hayven smiled smugly, thinking of the words Jack had said to her about not being close to anything human. She'd show him a thing or two about how little he really knew her.

Theo raised his eyes skeptically as she shrugged her shoulders. "That's true. Have you seen pictures of the lungs once they have been shitted on by smoking? Not nice." He smirked, remembering the biology class he attended. He watched as she touched her face and denied it felt broken. "I don't know, let me see." He stated as she asked for his opinion, he lifted his fingers to her jaw, and gently felt either side of it, "It doesn't feel broken, probably bruise a bit in the morning." He suggested. He'd had enough experience of being hit it the jaw during games to know what a broken one felt like. He smirked as he glanced over to the girl who did it. "She's giving you daggers. I don't think the highly opinionated girl who got punched is mean't to get the guy." He laughed casually, pulling out his wallet. He took another two swigs and finished his drink before resting the bottle down on the bar.
He smiled at Hayven and leaned over the bar, "Hmmm." He glanced his eyes over the selection of spirits and grinned, "How about we go all out and get absynth and lemonade?" He stated before making the decision before she got a chance to answer. He ordered the drinks and paid, pushing one beside her. "I think I'll get wasted tonight." He suggested playfully, "You're more than welcome to join me, if you can keep up." He laughed taking a drink, then pulling a face at it's strength. "I guess it sounded nicer than it tastes, just hold your nose." He smirked, knowing far too well how to have a good time.
He didn't mind Hayven, she seemed like a decent girl, and John had thought a lot of her at one point. He raised an eyebrow as she asked him for a dance, "Well... I'm not much of a dancer, maybe I have two right feet or something, but I'm sure if I've had a few drinks then I could be persuaded. I just hope you don't care if people stare... for all the wrong reasons."

Hayven laughed at Theo's analogy of what a smoker's lungs looked liked due to smoking. She might have not described it in such colorful words, but he had a valid point, be it blunt and amusing.
As he checked out her jaw, Hayven looked at him then at the bar and then back at him. "Good." She smiled and nodded her head in an approving nature.
With his mention of daggers, Hayven looked at the girl and sure as shit, she was staring at her as if she wanted to leap over the sea of patrons and rip her eyes out. Her attention averted back to Theo as he mentioned her getting the guy.
When Theo asked her about the drink selection, she started to protest, but it was too late. The drinks were ordered and paid for, one making its way to her.
Hayven watched at Theo took the first sip bravely and she laughed when she saw his face. She took his recommendation of holding her nose and took a big gulp of it. It burned as it went down her throat and to her belly, so much it made her eyes water.
"Drunk? Is that your sneaky way of trying to get me to agree to an entire night alone with you?" Hayven arched her eyebrow and smiled. She was doing just as Jack suggested, living life and doing it with Theo here and now.
Hayven pretended to pout about him not wanting to dance, but with a few more drinks who knew if he'd be able to fight off her pleas for dancing. She took another sip of the drink and laughed at his final statement of people looking at them for all the wrong reasons.
"And what reasons would those be?" Hayven leaned in closer to Theo, a wide smirk upon her face.

Theo smiled as Hayven laughed at his analogy. People often found him amusing when he didn't mean to be, but that was part of his overly dry sense of humour and blunt personality. There was no reason to beat around the bush. Her skin was soft in his finger tips, and he guessed to other onlookers they probably looked like they would kiss, although the truth was very different. He grinned as he watched her looking back to the bitch that hit her and he shook his head as she continued to glare, then with out thinking Theo raised his hand and waved over, replying sarcastically. "What a dumb bitch." He muttered, he didn't really like calling girls, he wasn't raised that way but he hated girls who started cat fights for nothing.
He laughed as she noted him hating the drink. "It is pretty disgusting. How about I don't try to exercise my brain cells, and you make the next selection." He suggested smirking somewhat embarrassed that he couldn't have picked a worse drink from the shelf if he'd tried. He laughed loudly as her eyes watered, and he rubbed his hand over his head while he downed the last of the poisonous concoction. "Well I am planning to get drunk. I was being polite by inviting you, plus since we may end up spending a night alone together in a haunted house... I guess it's a good way to get to know you." He smirked flirting just a little. He'd never really seen this side to Hayven, but the more he did, the more he liked her. He guess this was what attracted John to her in the first place. He was curious to ask about John but he figured it might be a sore spot, he had treated her pretty badly.
Theo pulled a mocked face of shock as she pouted. "Well I guess I could be persuaded. I guess I always make a fool out of myself when I've had a few too many. It's bad though, I suffer really badly the next morning. Unfortunately I often have a memory blank, and sometimes I lose an item of clothing, particularly ties. They always go the journey. Usually I have to go to the gym or do some morning exercise. If I don't my muscles are tight for the next practice and I don't perform as well." He grinned as she leaned in, and he bit his tongue as not to tell her his favourite morning exercise was sex.

Hayven smirked when Theo called the girl a dumb bitch. There was no better way to describe her in Hayven's eyes and she nodded to show that. Hayven took another drink from the drink Theo ordered them and made another face. "Yeah, I think I'll have to handle the drink list from here on out." Hayven set the drink down and looked over to Theo and his comment about alone and haunted house. From what she could tell so far, it didn't seem like a bad thing, they seemed to be getting along fairly well. She might have to thank Jack for that later.
Hayven listened to Theo's confession of the morning after drinking and his loosing of ties or other clothing. Her mind wandered just a bit as her brow arched and her lips put on a playful smile.
Hayven took anther sip of her drink and almost spit out her drink when he spoke about exercising in the morning so he could perform well for games.
"On that note, I think I'm ready for the next drink." Hayven felt a splash of color hit her cheeks as she pressed her lips together to keep from executing a nervous laugh about his routine. Hayven beckoned the tender over to them and placed an order for 2 green marks. She would be surprised if Theo knew what they were and even more surprised if he knew why she ordered such a random drink. But she was going to tell him of course when the drink came. The tender gave her a puzzled look for a minute and then nodded his head, went to making the drinks and then told her eighteen bucks. She slid a twenty out and let him keep the tip for putting up with her outrageous order and then slid it over in front of Theo.
"The whiskey in this drink makes the drink so pricey. The company went on this sustainability kick a few years ago." Hayven bypassed the rest of the drink Theo ordered her to take a gulp of her own. She needed more whiskey to finish his drink off and when the tender went to take it away she shooed him off.
"It's not every day a gal like me gets a drink bought for them." Hayven laughed lightly as the tender shrugged his shoulders and went on to his next customer.
"So, do you come here often?" Hayven's attention went right back to Theo then laughed. "Sorry that sounded like a lame ass pick up line." Hayven stifled another laugh and crossed her legs. "But I mean that seriously." Her eyes stayed on Theo's as she waited to hear more about him.

Theo smirked as Hayven agreed with his analogy of the girl who had hit her. Hayven was a lot more human than most people gave her credit for. He liked it. He nodded agreeing as his semi-fading smirk mutated into a full blown grin, ”Yeah. Definitely. It was a bad choice.” He admitted reluctantly, ”I guess it will help with our mission though.” He suggested thoughtfully shrugging his shoulders. Theo claimed himself to be a good drinker, able to drink copious amounts with little effect, but he could tell from the mixture of drinks they were likely to consume, he’d probably get drunk a whole load quicker.
He mimicked her arched brow as he laughed lightly at her playful smile, ”Don’t you look implicative.” He accused playfully raising his hand to his chin rubbing it slightly the way a detective might in an old school movie. He nodded as she suggested another drink, actually surprised that she was offering to, and proceeded to pay. He’d never really done the 50-50 thing with a girl before, he’d always been the gentleman, and this kind of felt strange, but it wasn’t as if they were on a date. He guessed to those around him it probably did look like he was on a date. He frowned as she ordered, he didn’t really know what a green mark was but he was willing to try anything once.
He picked the drink up, inspecting it, first with his eyes then with his nose. It smelt somewhat strong. He nodded raising his eyebrows. ”So it’s a enviro friendly whiskey?” He asked slightly surprised they even made them. He smirked finding it amusing somewhat and nodded before taking a drink. ”Not bad.” He remarked, as the cool liquid soothed and burnt his throat at the same time. ”Actually it’s quite nice. Good choice. You are the drinks selector for the evening.” Theo laughed before taking another drink. He almost choked on his drink as she had a debate with the bartender trying to take away a drink, ”Woah… Hayven… how territorial.”
He grinned as she used the oldest chat up line in the book, and then laughed at herself for using it. There was nothing better than a girl that was able to laugh at herself; it showed they were comfortable in their own skin. ”It did sound like a chat up line.” He shrugged chuckling as he took another drink, ”It’s a really bad one at that.” He added almost as if he was some sort of expert, but truth be told he didn’t really use chat up lines per say. ”Well, I come here a lot more than I should. It probably effects my game and performance on some level, but I figure, not to sound big headed, but when someone can actually out skill me, then I’ll raise my game.” He explained hoping he didn’t sound like he was being a jack ass jock. ”I come here at least once a week, usually twice. Depends what’s happening. We sometimes come down after practice. I don’t always drink though depends. I guess it depends how I’m feeling. I only just started coming back here about 6 month ago, before that I hadn’t been for a while, had some not so good memories attached.” He explained probably giving away a bit too much. ”What about you? Are you often out?”

Hayven laughed at Theo's statement of her looking implicative. She probably did, but she really didn't care. It was the act of 'living' or so she thought and Jack told her she needed to do more of that.
She watched as he examined the drink and laugh on her lips as he seemed to almost second guess her selection process. She nodded at his question and waited to see him drink it and hopefully like it. When he said she was the drink selector for the night, Hayven frowned for a second and laughed. He'd be in for a surprise because she had her few favorite drinks which were easily counted on one hand. Hayven had a feeling Theo was used to his liquor and lots of different flavors, so he'd end up seeing her as a 'light weight' by the end of the evening. She laughed at his territorial comment and wrinkled her nose lightly as she thought about it. It probably did come off as that, but why waste a drink that might be easier to handle once the few ice chips melted in it?
She listened to him talk about how much he drank, how often he came here and then how it might affect his game. Hayven nodded as if she understood what he was saying and thought about it.
"What about Jack? If he ever got back in the game?" Hayven had no idea how Jack played, but she had to wonder if he was any good. The attention turned back to her as he asked her and she shook her head, setting her drink down.
"Afraid not. I think I've been here maybe one other time." Hayven admitted and shrugged her shoulders. "I guess you can say I'm turning a new leaf." She smiled and hoped that this wouldn't come back to bite her in the ass because of taking the advice of Jack.

He smiled as she nodded, guessing she kind of understood what he was trying to say. He was pleased that he mustn't have really come across as big headed, since she never really commented. "Jack is an ass hole, and Jack is a shit player." He sighed shrugging his shoulders, "Actually he used to be alright, but I think he lost motivation. Its a shame really, but I guess he's not really interested in sport no more." He shrugged his shoulders, when he thought about it, maybe Jack had it slightly harder than Theo gave him credit for, because something had to have knocked him off being motivated and now he was destroying his body. "We don't really get on." He commented honestly. He could have lied and made out like they were friends, but Hayven wasn't an idiot and Theo knew she would pick up if he was lying.
He nodded as she admitted she didn't really get out much, "Well I hope you come back." He stated wishing he could bite his tongue off. He really needed to learn to think before he spoke. It was a bad habit and it just made things worse, no matter what they were. He was too blunt in his manner and he knew it wasn't a good way to be sometimes. "What made you come here tonight? Like by yourself I mean." He asked curiously running his hand over his head as he finished his drink. "Why the change of character?" He asked, it was rather a random thing to do without planning.

Hayven listened to what Theo had to say about Jack and she really couldn't believe it. Maybe Jack was a shit player, but he didn't seem that way-he seemed like he didn't want to play because he didn't like it anymore. So the truth comes out.
Hayven's mouth stood slightly agape when he said they weren't getting along well; weren't they best friends? She had always thought so, but it seemed that even best friends had their struggles. Hayven was glad she had so little of friends now that she thought about it.
Hayven smiled when Theo said he wished she'd come back and tilted her head a little as she looked at him.
"Well minus the jaw incident, so far the night seems to be going favorably." Hayven laughed lightly. Then he asked the question she knew he'd get around to asking. Hayven bit her lower lip as she thought about the reason why she came out again tonight. He probably wouldn't want to hear that she got the idea of 'living' off Jack since they didn't get along well. But her mind blanked when she thought of what else to say instead. And she didn't particularly like lying because she honestly sucked at it.
"Jack." Hayven took another sip of her drink and arched her eyebrow before she continued on. "Apparently he doesn't think I live enough, or at least by his standards." Hayven looked down to the bar and then back to Theo. "So I decided to test his theory on what I consider living and his idea of living....see which one works." Hayven shrugged her shoulders and polished off the rest of her drink.

Theo smiled at Hayven, he didn’t really want to be known as the type of guy who slagged his team mates off, but him and Jack had never really been friends. For some reason Jack had a problem because Theo was friends with Jack’s brother before he died. It wasn’t something he was going to go into much detail about because in all honesty he wasn’t really too bothered about the whole situation, if Jack chose to push people away it was his choice, and he’d be the one who’d end up with no friends.
He pushed thoughts of Jack to the very back of his mind because in all honesty he didn’t really want to let it spoil his night with Hayven. She was cute as she tilted her head, flashing him a smile, ”Yeah, obviously I don’t hope you get smacked in the face on every visit but, you know what I mean.” He smiled, laughing slightly with her. It was easy to feel relaxed around Hayven, which was odd because usually he felt awkward and up tight around the outsiders, especially the ones who tried to sell their beliefs. Hayven met all the criteria to make him feel uncomfortable, yet she seemed to have a somewhat soothing effect on him. It was odd. He had to keep remembering that she was once involved with his best friend. It wouldn’t be right, right?
Theo nodded to the bar man and ordered two of the same. He actually quite liked the drink, and since they seemed to be going in rounds he just opted to continue with the tradition. He slid the bar man a twenty dollar bill and lightly pushed the drink in front of Hayven. ”If your jaw gets damaged… the alcohol should numb your pain.” He smiled, offering her a reason to get drunk. It wasn’t a good reason, and he guessed if she had half a brain she’d not get drunk and she’d leave early, but temptation was most peoples worst enemy. Theo’s included.
He frowned as he mistook her words for her calling him Jack. ”No. I’m Theo. Maybe you’ve had one too many drinks.” He suggested a light smirk on his face, his tone dripping with sarcasm before he stopped and listened to her explanation. ”Jack has no right to say that. He’s a lying guy, who is actually quite boring himself.” He stated shrugging his shoulders, ”Do you like like Jack?” He asked curiously, finding himself a little put out by his question. ”I’m just asking because you’ve talked about him a few times.” He stated a suggestive grin on his face.

Hayven snorted and laughed lightly when Theo seemed to indicate that she had too much to drink. "I'm just getting started." And just like that another drink appeared and she was quick for the uptake since her other had vanished a few seconds ago.
Hayven laughed when Theo seemed to get defensive about what Jack had put Hayven up to and she narrowed her eyes in disbelief. Jack was boring and a liar? Well the last part she might be able to believe, but boring she highly doubted.
Hayven made a face when Theo asked if she liked Jack and then backed it up with the fact that she was talking about him a lot. "No. Look...." Hayven took another sip and then set the glass down.
"Perhaps it seems like I talk about Jack too much because you've not asked me anything that doesn't pertain to Jack." Hayven laughed lightly and then got serious in the face.
"If I wanted Jack, I would be here with him and drinking with him." Hayven shrugged and took another drink from the green liquor. "I thought it would have been obvious who I wanted for company tonight." Hayven tilted her head so that her long brown hair spilled from her shoulders as she looked at Theo.

Theo laughed loudly as she snorted, it had always been something that made him laugh inappropriately and it was related to a childhood memory, of course he meant no harm. ”Good. So am I.” He smiled, ordering them both a sambucca shot. ”This will help us lose our memory and inhibitions.” He laughed pushing it across to her. It was different drinking lots with a girl. If he was on a date he would usually go down the meal and drinks, or cinema route rather than a club. Clubs would be introduced when he knew her better. He reminded himself that this wasn’t a date and therefore those rules didn’t apply. He was here talking to an acquaintance, with hope that she would one day be his friend.
He noted her silence as he highlighted Jack’s flaws. Then he sighed realising that he’d probably upset or offended her. ”Sorry. Sorry. I just… me and Jack haven’t been getting on very well at all recently. Like I said he has this vendetta against me because I was friends with his brother who was killed. Jack attacked me with a knife three days ago, so you can hopefully understand why I’m not his biggest fan. But if you like him then… fair play.” He shrugged trying to explain himself as to not cause any trouble with Hayven. ”Tell me about your protesting. I know your always in trouble for it.” He asked trying to change the subject, he found opinionated strong rebellious girls a turn on.
Theo frowned curiously as he re-evaluated her statement. He watched as she tilted her head to look at him, he dark hair moving with the mechanics. ”So you want me? Is that what your saying?” He asked bluntly, because quite frankly he was up for mostly anything tonight. ”If I didn’t want to talk to you Hayven, I wouldn’t have come over. I would have ignored you.” He stated edging closer to her. He raised his hand and gently pushed her hair from her face, his hand dropping resting on her arm.

Hayven nodded her head and listed to what Theo had to say about Jack and she blinked and felt her jaw open in surprise at the knife confession. Her head tipped to its side as she pressed her lips together to keep from blurting out what he should have done to Jack because of the knife incident.
Hayven's face turned into a smile and she nodded her head as she prepared to tell Theo about her protesting. "Well, you have football that you're passionate about and I have the environment." Hayven took another sip of her drink and then let it remain in her right hand.
But just think, if the environment was shit you'd have no where to play the sport you love so much. Everything in the earth is connected, like a chain reaction sort of thing." Hayven smiled and set the drink down after her reasonings about how she felt about the reasons she does what she does at school.
Hayven laughed at the bluntness of Theo's question, but that was exactly what she had been saying; wasn't it? Theo's hand brushed her stray hair out of her face and Hayven nodded her head to the question he proposed to her just seconds before hand.
"I guess that is exactly what I'm saying."' Hayven nodded her head again and placed her right hand on his left as she met Theo half way with her own head and then pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss.
