Isobel put the headphones to her ipod in her ears as she turned it on, after carefully selecting the music she wanted to listen to and turning it up loud; She lay down on her bed and began mouthing the words to the song. Her Black hair with violent pink streaks was half covering her face. If there was anyone else in the room Izz wasnt aware of them, she usually ignored others around her anyway and was getting quite good at ignoring what people were saying around her. Her feet began moving along with the music as Izz rolled over onto her back and began staring at the celing, forgetting what had happened that day; her temper was fading quickly. Music seemed to have that effect on her most times.
As the song slowly ended, Izz pulled out one of her headphones and moved towards her bag to find her stash of lollypops that she kept hidden from others. Her mother used to throw out her lollypops thinking they were something else when she was drunk, and others who saw them often raised an eyebrow. Pulling out a grape flavoured lollypop, Izz pulled off the rapper and put it straight into her mouth then put the headphones back into her ears and continued to listen to her music occasionally pulling the lollypop out of her mouth for a couple of seconds then replaced it back into her mouth. Occasionally her cold, light blue eyes looked towards the window of the dorm.

A few days had passed and while Hayven saw her two female roomies, she had not seen the mysterious male roomie that Acacia spoke of upon their initial meeting. Hayven was starting to get annoyed at the lack of concern the male roommate had and it was obvious they had been here because she had heard noises from time to time from the room. Mostly sounds of coming and going.
Hayven slammed her math book closed in annoyance and sighed. She had to find out who this roommate was and why they decided to keep to themselves. It just was plain right rude to spend a whole school year together and ignore the group!
Hayven slid off her bed and stretched out as she pumped herself up to face the rude male-which was not surprising that he was rude in reality because he did go to this school after all.
Hayven opened her own door and made it over to the always closed door and pounded on it, folding her arms after a few seconds.

Isobel heard a loud noise, banging on the door that was interupting the song she was listening to. With a loud, annoyed sigh she put the song on pause and took out the headphones. 'Who could it possibly be?' She thought to herself angrily as she got up from her bed and made her way over towards the door then opened it just enough for her to see outside. Then pulled out the grape lollypop from her mouth so that she could speak. "What do you want?" She asked, her voice having no emotion in it. While Izz waited she looked the strange girl up and down, taking in her appearence.
"Who are you?" She added her voice indifferent, Izz knew this wasnt the best way to gain friends but she wasnt exactly a friendly person in the nicest way possible. "Wait, your a roommate right?" She said a couple of minutes later while moving her head slightly to the side but kept her pale hand firmly on the door to keep the view of her room as out of sight as she possibly could. To Izz such things as rooms were private.

The door opened and behind it was a girl. Hayven blinked and tried to look into the room to see if there was a male in the place, but it was of little help because the colorful girl was blocking her.
Hayven wrinkled her nose at the blunt and rude question tossed her way, the smell of grape wafting in her nose. Another question was tossed her way and Hayven felt a flush of anger fill her mind. Hayven looked the girl up and down and picked at her hair, clothing and personality. She was going to be the best roomie of the year Hayven thought sarcastically.
"Well, you're not a boy." Hayven shrugged her shoulders, she could care less really if she shared a dorm room with a male or female as long as either of them weren't stupid.
"And yes, I am a roommate, but you would know that if you took the time to come outside of the bedroom." Hayven began to get cross with the girl with a million questions.
"Did you know that if you make your room out to be your study area, entertainment area and sleeping area it is more likely you will have a difficulty of around 45 percent when trying to fall asleep in the bed?" Hayven knew the oddest facts because she spent so much time researching new things to protest about.

Isobel put her hands on her hips quickly after Hayven had said her first sentence. "What a great observation." She said sarcastically wondering why the stange girl thought she was a boy. "And I do leave the bedroom you just dont see me, or dont pay enough attention" Izz retorted her voice having the slightest hint of amusement in it. She pushed a lock of her hair behind her ear and moved the door open ever so slightly that it didnt make much difference. "I have been told that before, but I am perfectly fine" She added not really caring what Hayven thought of her answer.
"I didnt catch your name?.... oh wait you didnt say it. I will go first then, im Isobel DeLuca" She said a couple of minutes later after watching Hayven. Izz was unsure wether she was actually going to get along with this girl or not. It was rather hard to tell at this moment although Isobel wasnt exactly being friendly. She began tapping her foot a little impatiently, the expression on her face still emotionless.

Hayven squinted her eyes, her face turning into a small frown at the girl's rather annoyed voice. But again, Hayven didn't care, she was certain none of the others had met her because she knew them and they would have said something. The girl with colorful hair gave Hayven her name and wanted her's in return. Hayven pondered on not telling the girl her name since she started tapping her foot as if Hayven was wasting her time.
"Hayven, I have the room next door to yours." Hayven looked at Isobel and gave her a small shrug.
"Well, if you ever decide to do anything else outside of what you normally do.....Elsa would be a good one to go to." Elsa was a jock and knew just about everyone who was jocky and then some in the school.
"You should look for Acacia, I think you two would get along great as well; she is our other roomie." Acacia was goth and this girl looked like she was almost from another planet, so she bet they would get along just fine-though Hayven didn't know if she wanted to give Acacia such a burden.
"Anyways, nice meeting you." Hayven gave Isobel a small wave and headed towards the kitchen to start her dinner. She didn't have the time or the patience to deal with someone who didn't want to be bothered and it was clear she didn't.
