Isobel walked down the pavement towards the nearby cafe, her glossy midnight black hair that had violent pink streaks through it was out and hung down past her shoulders; occasionally bouncing off her back as she walked, her expression unreadable but inside she was angry. Spotting a nearby table outside with an umbrella to keep the sun away. Sliding into the seat closest to her Isobel noticed out of the corner of her eyes that another had been wanting that table, she turned her head to look at them changing her expression into a slight smirk before changing it back into her usual expressionless one. As Isobel leaned back in the seat so that her back was touching the back of the chair, she stared out at the street just watching the cars and people go past; trying to get her thoughts off her father who had once again tried to contact her.
The vibrating of her phone brought Isobel back to reality. Not many people had Isobel's mobile number so it had to be one of the few people, her mother, father or Xavier and right now Isobel didnt want to talk to any of them. Reading the name of the caller on her phone, Isobel saw that it was Xavier calling her this time. Just last week she had told him to leave her alone, but he musnt have gotten the message. "Ignore" She mumbled to herself as she pushed the button then placed her phone on the table. "What would you like to drink miss?" The waitress asked making Isobel jump slightly, she hadnt noticed the waitress there. "Just an iced coffee" Isobel said without looking at her and once again returned to looking over at the street. Watching the world go past.

Ryder had the day off college and one of his most favourite things to do in the world was people watch and environment watch, it was amazing the things you could see when you took a step out of life and watched it run past you. It was a learning experience which Ryder couldn't let go of, he didn't need to be the people living it to feel the chaotic rumbles going through their minds, to see the agony they felt, the smiles their faces sang. Yet he could feel the peace that life embraced as he did this, he could feel like he was apart of the world, an inanimate object, a tree or a plant, constantly seeing and breathing in the world around him.
But this was better done sitting down and becoming absorbed. Most of the places seemed to be full of people, yet there was one table in a cafe which sat just one girl. Surely she wouldn't mind some company? He turned direction and headed towards her, he admired her style. She'd managed to avoid mainstream yet pull it off quite nicely, she didn't look like the type of girl who would reject him from sitting or maybe she was but maybe he just wouldn't take no for an answer from her, and maybe he'd inflict his personality onto her and force her to see the beauty surrounding them and once she'd seen that there was no way she could say no to a stranger. "Hello there, miss," Ryder smiled as he held out his hand for her to shake. He was always polite, especially around girls. "Anyway do you mind if I sit with you? I know we don't know each other but if we never talk we never will." he said simply with a soft smile as he pulled out a spare chair and settled himself on it. "Nice day isn't it."

Hearing a voice Isobel snapped out of her thoughts quickly and turned her head to see who was talking to her, how could she be so careless and not pay attention to what was around her. "I guess not" She muttered coldly to him in answer to the strangers question while she watched him carefully trying to decide wether or not she actually wanted to talk to him. Tucking a peice of her midnight black hair behind her ear, Isobel returned her ice blue eyes back onto the street before answering his question. "Yeah I guess it is." Isobel said her tone indifferent. "Here is your drink miss" The waitress said returning back to the table. Isobel nodded to herself and pulled out her wallet from her black shoulder bag then payed the waitress.
She was waiting for the stranger to say something or not, She herself wasnt good at starting or even keeping a conversation going which made people think that Isobel didnt want to talk to them. "So... Are you going to tell me the real reason you sat down here or not?" Isobel shot at him, returning her gaze once more towards him. She wasnt used to people just asking to sit down near her, so it made her think he had another motive even though it probably wasnt true.

Ryder watched as the waitress returned with her drink, he wondered what it was. Getting drinks from cafes was always a bit risky, he usually just got water. There was no chance of a pig being in water unless the place was seriously corrupto. Also water was free, not that Ryder had an issue with money. His lifestyle was fairly cheap and so he had a lot of cash to splash about on things, only Ryder didn't really buy much anyway.
He raised an eyebrow up at her as she turned accusative, it was sad that people had to be so suspicious of each other but he suposed if he could be the one person to change that, the one person to say 'hey, i just want to be your friend, no alternative motive' then maybe the world could move forward a step at a time. He returned his sceptic expression into a warm smile as he turned to face the girl fully. "Honestly, I'm an undercover agent and I've been sent here to spy on you." he teased as he reached over to touch her hand. Ryder was a very compassionate person, he was best when he could communicate to people, enjoy their presence and live with their beauty. "I'm here to sit, maybe watch some people and speculate. Nothing else... maybe make a new friend? I admire your style, it suits you." he added with a small pause. It really did. He wasn't so big on the whole outer image thing, he didn't spend much time on his appearance but he figured it fit his soul. "I guess that's not your natural hair colour?" he enquired curiously.

Isobel sipped at her iced coffee without taking her light blue eyes off the road, she placed the drink back onto the table once the glass was half empty and wiped the foam off her lip. Her eyes narrowed when Ryder had spoken next, she wasnt amused with him teasing her when she was being completely serious. If he was going to continue to she was just going to get up and leave. "Your not funny" She retorted glaring at him for a minute Her hand flinched when he touched it, she wasnt used to people making contact with her. Izz's expression softened only slightly when he said he liked her style, those who knew Isobel would have noticed it but others usually didnt. "Thanks" Isobel mumbled to him unsure what else to say, it didnt really bother her what people thought of her style but the guy was just trying to be nice.
"Its not my natural hair colour, even if it was why does it matter? You havent even told me your name!" She snapped loosing patience, she thought this guy was weird perhaps crazy. Isobel had never come across someone like him and even though she didnt want to admit it, she was alittle scared. More so then when she met other strangers but she always came across as someone cold and distant even when she wasnt trying to. About a minute later Isobel picked up her drink again just for something to do and returned her gaze back onto the street. Perhaps she had been a little too harsh but was said was done now and she couldnt take it back, even if she actually wanted to.
