HISTORY
It has been two decades since two enemies stood face to face in a perilous battle. It has been two hundred years since man and wolf collided in an attempt to destroy one another, and everything that they ever had.
The wolves were quite peaceful creatures in the shadowed woodland on the perimeters of a city that was in the process of being built. They did not feel the need to disturb the two-legged's, as long as they did not disturb them. It went well for quite some time, except for the cloying smoke, and lack of space, but the wolves managed to work around it. That was they managed it until the two-legged took more then what was rightfully there's.
Two hundred year's ago, a story began to unfold. A story about treachery, bravery, and bloodshed. Two-legged met beast in the middle of the battlefield, fighting for what they both wanted, but only one could have. One wanted the land in order to create an order to the chaos of society; to expand human civilization by the order of the Government. The other, was set 'pon protecting the only life that they had ever known.
It was then that darkness consumed the peaceful woodland, and acrid flames billowed in the tree-tops, lighting the horrid scenery below. Guttural growls, and raw cries could be heard renting through the intangible atmosphere for many days, and many nights. It was only when all was eerily quite was the extent of the selfish battle revealed.
Broken bodies of both man and beast lay prone 'pon the crimson stained terrain, and charred trees reached desolate fingers into the bleak atmosphere. Smoke drifted from burning debris, and the haunting battle cries could be heard in the mind's of the survivors. It was that fateful night that the wolf pack lost their beloved land to the greed of two-legged's. It was that night, a bitter animousity arose, and a plan for revenge began.
The broken survivor's gathered who they could to slink within the shadows of the land they had once claimed as their own, vowing vengeance, and beginning the Warrior Code. Training began shortly for the unevitable battle that would pursue in the future, and when pups were born into the pack, they were taught with fierce determination, and valiant loyalty as the story of the battle was passed along the lineage. When those pups became full fledged warriors, they would pass the ancient story down until the once peaceful pack was a teeming crew of ordered calculation; no longer full of mindless chaos.
Battles could be heard in the battling grounds where the training would take place. Life could be taught while listening to their elders, and prowling the perimeters of the meager land. Love could be found in the milling animousity. Deciet could be revealed within the inky velvet shadows. Trust could be broken, and easily replaced within the ranks of the pack. Fear could be ignited in the hearts of all.
It was then that they were deemed ready, and began the calculated battle to take back what was rightfully theirs. Lives were lost, hopes were crushed, determination was evident, and perfection was available in every sinewy form as the pack worked together to dominate the two-legged's. It was then that the story changed. The beginning a battle, the middle a tale of determination, and team work, the end a exhilerating victory for the wolf pack. The book had thus since changed, and so the title was labeled Delirium and the story begins.
