Theo mimicked Jack's scowl inconspicuously. "Yeah sure. Do me a favour, be less morbid." he stated sarcastically. He didn't really care if Jack got aggravated or angry, because all it demonstrated was a lack of self control, which was certainly evident in Jack's dememour. "Oh well I guess we both piss each other off all the time. Shame." He stated glaring. Theo wasn't in the slightest bit scared of Jack, so if he was to start anything, he'd attack back.
Theo realised all too late that Jack had observed his fear. Jack was never really observant and today had to be the day when Jack proved Theo wrong. His instinct was to leave the room, but he knew he needed to finish this crazy experience today, not wait until he next crept in the flat. Theo watched the crazy sadistic smile and heard his uneasy words. "Fuck you." Theo stated bitterly, frowning as this nutcase room mate moved toward him, a crazy clown smile draped allover his good for nothing face. Theo listened as his tone changed and he began to be somewhat serious. "What?" Theo asked eyeing him, refusing to back down in his stance, his eyes narrowed and his feet steady. "Leave Sam out of this. I wasn't his best friend. He was a good friend. And I don't wish you were dead if that's what your implying. You can't bring back the dead Jack so fucking quit trying. Leave your brother out of it." His tone was firm and if Jack hadn't got hold of a blade he figured he'd actually be quite intimidating. "That's not why you don't get to play. It's cos your a fucking shit player with no committment to the team." He stated defensively. He really wished he'd asked for a dorm transfer when the moron was allocated here. Theo didn't really think Jack would hurt him, but he was so wrong. He eyed him wildly, fear racing through every vessel in his body as his heart pound, his feet firmly planted to the ground, he wanted to run but he couldn't. Theo felt a sharp pain rising though his body, and he jerked his arm back responsively as he felt a warm throbbing sensation as blood began to ooze from the knife wound. Theo's face went pale as he frowned in horror. "What the...?" He was almost speechless as he heard the knife crash to the ground, he didn't have enough oxygen to scream as he felt his head going dizzy, he wasn't the biggest fan of blood, but when he could feel it burning from his wound it was worse. He cradled his arm instinctively and grabbed a tee towel from the drawer, his face mangled in a painful expression as he tried to control his breathing and focus on his safety. As he heard Jack's distant panic mumblings as he appologised in a frenzy, Theo turned round to face him, his hand holding the blood stained towel on his arm. "You fucking cock!" Theo yelled almost too in shock to say anything constructive. "Get me a fucking ambulance you moron." He stated as he gasped in pain applying more pressure to his arm to stop the bleeding. "You are fucking crazy, that's what's wrong. You need help!" Theo stated through gritted teeth as he tried to manage his pain.

Jack felt himself growing hot as Theo felt the need to tell him not to involve Sam, to not involve his own brother, being told that by a complete stranger, it made his blood boil. He didn’t agree with Theo, Sam had everything to do with how he was feeling right now and he was sure that if Theo could swap them he would do, so in Jack’s opinion Theo was lying. ”Shut up about my fucking brother! He wasn’t yours, he was mine! When are people going to stop feeling sorry for themselves and realise that they’re not the ones who lost their entire fucking family, they just lost an ‘aquantance’,” Jack snapped with a roll of his eyes. It was true though, everyone thought they had a peice of Sam. Even to this day people would come up to him and talk to him about his brother, or try to, telling stories, saying how much they missed him. It just annoyed the hell out of him, he lost his brother, what did he care if they lost their supposed best friend who they probably bitched about anyway?! It was all an attention seeking game and Jack couldn’t deal with it anymore.
He felt as if Theo had cut him himself, as if the cut in his hand was suddenly a lot deeper and only not in his hand but somewhere in his chest and that maybe he really didn’t have anything at all, maybe he was just living without a purpose, and maybe any hope or dream of going to college was officially gone now because Theo had said he was a shit player and if he ever did get the chance to play again and there was scouts there then they wouldn’t want him because Theo had said he was shit. Jack gulped all of that back and tried to steady his breathing. It was hard to do so. ”Fine then I’ll quit.” he stated quietly as he looked away for a moment.
Despite the fact that Theo was the one who was stabbed Jack felt as though he was the victim too. He watched in shock, afraid that Theo was going to turn on him. It wouldn’t surprise him but maybe if Theo beat him to death it would be good enough anyway. ”Ambulance, right,” Jack said as he grabbed for his phone. He began to dial the number. ”Hi, I need an ambulance, it’s an emergency, there’s a guy here who’s been stabbed,” Jack started as he explained where they lived. He hung up the phone after a minute or so and turned to Theo when he called him crazy. He had to get out of here. He did nothing but grab a hold of his shoes and then run, run as fast as he could out of the door and down the corridor towards the fire escape. And once down he didn’t stop running.
