She hadn't thought of it as charity at first - but she supposed it was. She hoped she hadn't offended him too much.
She wondered how serious him and his ex-girlfriend were. It didn't matter too much though she hoped. Either way her parents wouldn't care. 'Too be honest they wouldn't really see you that much. They both work in the week, and then avoid me at the weekend, so...' She hoped that they would meet him one day, but she knew it wouldn't be any time soon.
She laughed as he said it. 'I doubt it, it's too much effort,' she said honestly. 'And besides, I leave that to others,' she said. Some of the people at her school did all sorts - just to 'rebel.'
She wondered if she shouldn't have done it. But when he laughed, she realised. But she was still a little surprised at how forthright he was being. She took a deep breath and attempted to explain. 'I do... but, I don't want you to think I'm some kind of slut.' she said simply. 'I don't want to do it wrong either,' she said quietly, slightly more embarrassed at the latter of the confessions. She realised with him being 21, and having had a serious former girlfriend, that he would have experience. Where as she had none, she didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. She almost felt like she should apologise.

He began to think about what context she was talking. Her parents wouldn't see him that much, if what? If they were dating? The thought made him smile a little but he didn't really want to push his luck either. It was a risky subject because maybe she just wanted to be friends, she said she liked him but maybe she just didn't want to be rude or anything. "I like to meet parents," Ryder admitted quietly, "How come they avoid you?" he asked her softly. He'd always had quite an easy home life. Sure his parents divorced and sure he wanted nothing to do with his mom but that wasn't because she ignored him, that was because she was a whore. He got more than enough attention at home. He didn't know really how to make her feel any better. Maybe he could tell her parents a piece of his mind about how they treat her, though that couldn't go down too well. Ryder sighed. "If I could I'd make it better for you... I don't know how to. Maybe when they see who you hang out with they'll realise they have to pay attention to you, or maybe you should just come move here with me and that'll sharp get their attention." he teased, though if she was up for it, he had no objections.
Ryder tried to listen, this was about sex and sex he could listen to. Actually he could listen to whatever she said because he was just that type of guy but his whole body listened to the topic of sex, not just his mind. He frowned slightly but not because he was disapointed in her, but then he quickly turned it into a smile and rolled his eyes. "Silly you could never do it 'wrong', and anyway I don't judge, it's a learning experience. But not yet, you're not ready and I shouldn't preasureize you. I'm sorry, I know better now." he apologsied before bringing her in against his chest as he kissed the top of her head, stroking her back comfortingly. "I was a virgin when I was seventeen," he admitted, maybe it would make her feel better.

She'd said too much. She'd have to tell him at somepoint, but she didn't really want to right now. 'Nyree... did some bad stuff before they realised that she wasn't well. Because we are ridiculously identical...' she trailed off. 'Somedays they have trouble even looking at me, but it's not really their fault.' She didn't want him to think badly of them already.
She laughed when he said about her staying to get her parents attention. 'Seriously, somedays they wouldn't even notice.' Though she doubted he would want to share his tent 24/7.
She felt real small when he held her close. But it was nice, and she was glad that he was being so nice about it all. She was thinking about him as a long term relationship, and right now, she didn't see the point in rushing their relationship.
She looked up at him. She was getting a little cold, and she supposed they should head back, if only to warm up. Though the skin that she had contact with right now, was lovely and warm. 'Shall we head back soon?' she asked, not really minding the answer, as long as he continued to have his arms around her.
