Allison sat, staring at the wall. She had just been given her medicine. It included anti-depressants, meds for her bipolar and something for her paranoia. She was mellow for once, not sitting and rocking back in forth thinking the walls were going to collapse and kill her.
Then she wondered how Laurie was doing. Of course everyone knew who her brother is. She has a son, who is very good looking. Not that he would ever notice her. Her mind wandered from topic to topic when the guards came to her cell door, which was locked.
Allison wondered what it was this time. Maybe they had brought in the priest again. Now that had been a joke. She didn't even believe in God. Or maybe the doctor. Now that she was drugged up, they could run tests on her. They acted as if she couldn't still feel.
When the psychiatrist walked in, he told her she could actually...go outside. The words sounded foreign on her tongue as she repeated them. He just nodded, and looked at her like he usually did. Part apprehension and part pitty. He led her through the doors, still being flanked by a security guard.
Ali let out a squeal and tore off through the yard at a dead run. Her legs felt good as they stretched out beneath her, thudding against the grass. She sat down and laid in the green grass, smiling up at the blue sky. Then she slid her shoes off and wiggled her toes in the soft green stuff. It was like Christmas, because it was a gift to her for having good behavior.

Nyree sat in the corner closest to the door of her ward, her head bowed down slightly making her jet black hair fall over her face covering it almost compelety. Quickly her eyes closed as she began talking to herself, to those who heard it; it was complete nonsence. Nyree hadnt been outside since she was admitted into the Aslyum, and wouldnt stand or sit anywhere close to the sun in fear of what it would do to her because she was a vampire. However today, the Psychiatrists had decided to take her outside for some fresh air hoping it would do her some good.
A shadow outside of the ward appeared behind the door, as though she was expecting it Nyree looked up and began to slowly stand up. The creak of the door was soon heard and without warning Nyree jumped onto the Psychiatrist's back and began leaning forward towards his neck. However she was quickly restrained by two others and was forcefully taken off his back. "Come on Nyree were going for a trip outside today" One of them said in a kind but forcefull voice then began walking out of the ward and towards the grounds.
Once outside Nyree looked around carefully, it had been so long she barely remembered what it was like; the lucious green trees and grass the crisp air. But her thoughts were distracted when she noticed another outside and her made up thirst for blood burnt in her throat. Soon enough Nyree found herself walking over towards the stranger, a thirsty look in her eyes.

Allison heard footsteps padding on the grass. She turned around and saw a girl with long black hair, with a weird look in her eyes walking towards her. Ali cursed herself. They let everyone outside at a time, the guards thinking they could keep an eye on everyone. She knew better than to let her guard down. Who knew what this girl's problem was.
"Hey." Allison said smiling as she stood up and brushed herself off, but still looking in the other girl's eyes. She was expecting anything and everything. Her legs were poised to run, and she looked for the nearest guard.
She had already worked a plan by the time the girl had neared closer. Maybe they could be friends, or maybe at least help each other. Hah, like that would happen. At the asylum, the only person you could count on was yourself, no matter what anyone told you. She had made that mistake and it had almost gotten her killed.
Luckily support group time was more supervised and under control. She had a meeting this friday. Allison hated group meetings. She hated talking about her past, and she didn't figure anyone would want to listen anyway.

Nyree smiled as convincingly as she could and came to a stop about a metre away from Allison. "Hello, do you have anything sharp?" She asked trying to sound innocent but failed a little as her tone had a slight edge of demand in it; her smile changed quickly into an unreadable expression as she watched Allison. "Im Amethyst" She said once more pretending to be innocent. Nyree's stomach growled loudly from hunger which she took to be thirst for blood, and slowly Nyree sat down on the lucious green grass and began looking around for something sharp.
but it seemed that the guards had made sure that there was nothing sharp around to stab herself with so she could get the delicious scarlette blood she so desperatly wanted. Sighing to herself Nyree looked up at Allison, while moving her head slightly to the side. Then looked around for the sun, which she couldnt see.

Allison almost groand. Not another one. Looking for something sharp, obviously not having the common sense to find pieces of scrap about the place. And she obviously hadn't been outside in a while. If you get lucky, you can break of a rusted part of the fence. But then if you don't have your shots, you die.
"No. I'm sorry. They keep the place pretty "pointy object" free." Ali said, clearly mocking the girl. Then she got on the ground and began looking. Yes, the girl was a half-wit. What made her think there would be anything on the ground? Allison could make her something, but then again, she wanted to get outside more, and if she made this girl a shank, she would never get to see the light of day again. And she only made things like that for herself.
She didn't even make those things to hurt herself, more of something to do. But the guards never beleived her. So once she made something, Ali either hid it, or destroyed it. Luckily they let her have a pencil nub and some paper. Sometimes they let her sharpen the pencil, but they watched her write until it became dull. That was horrible, having someone watch you try to write something that is private. Not that they could see.
"I'm Allison." She said warmly, trying to make a friend, or at least someone she could manipulate. Not that this girl would get her anything. If she went around asking for point things all the time. She was surprised they even let her outside.

Nyree shrugged absent mindedly to herself as she lifted her pale arm up to her mouth and began biting it, hoping break through the skin so she could get some blood. She didnt care how it looked to others, although the guards were now watching her carefully; it was the first time Nyree had tried this and they were wondering wether they should stop from doing it or not. "Nyree stop doing that" A guard called out, causing Nyree to stop what she was doing and turn to look at them "My name isnt Nyree its Amethyst" She growled at them for a minute then turned her head back to look at Allison
"They forced me outside" She explained to Allison not really caring what she thought about it. Nyree liked to make people think that she was useless, it meant that they wouldnt bother her or even try to make friends with her. And it usually worked, only the occasional person now talked to Nyree and noone would have guessed that this useless girl was plotting a way out in her head. Seconds later Nyree began staring off into the distance in thought, her mind was usually consumed with escape thoughts these days; but she needed her twin to carry out the plan. "Do you hear that noise?" She said suddenly to Allison without looking at her.

Allison watched as the girl began biting herself. She rolled her eyes. The guard called out to the girl. "Alright, Amethyst." She replied, trying to be friendly, but was loosing her composure. No, she could control herself. She would. Ali wasn't going to loose her outside privliges because of some half-wit who liked to bite herself.
"GOOD FOR YOU!" She screamed, which got the attention of the guards. Then her eyes grew wide, hoping the girl wouldn't attacke her. "Um. I'm sorry. I'm very bipolar. Honestly." Allison explained, almost to tears now. What medicine would they forget tomorrow? They might as well not even have any doctors around here. Well, they didn't really care. The patients were already there, might as well sluff off.
Then she could tell the girl wasn't even paying attention to her anymore. "Noise?" Allison asked, turning her head this way and that, trying to hear the mysterious noise. She had no idea what it sounded like "a noise" could be anything and everything going through the girl's mind.
Allison had to admit though, her paranoia and anti-depressant medication were working beautifully. Besides her little outburst, Ali felt content, which was something she hadn't felt in a long time. Well, besides yesterday, which she spent staring complacently at her grey wall.
