Acacia wasn't exactly sure how this would work. The lady at the reception desk had told her that Nyree was on lockdown, and the only way Acacia would be able to talk to her was through the door. Something about her own safety?
She walked quickly and quietly until she came to the familiar door. She tapped on it quietly, not wanting to disturb her sister if she was asleep. She hoepd she wasn't, Acacia had to plan when her visits were, and wished they could be more frequent.
She looked at the door, there was a perpex window in the door. Acacia went onto her tiptoes, and she could just about see into the room. It didn't look like anyone was there... that was worrying. Going back onto her normal level, Acacia looked down the hall, the place was deserted... Great. She wondered where everyone was? Surely they had to have some security in this place? She knocked on her sisters door again, this time a little louder. If she wasn't in there this could be a problem. Her grip on the package that she had brought with her was becoming ever tighter as she became more and more nervous. She shouldn't be nervous though, this was her own sister!
'Ny?' she called, she didn't want to get someone, to raise the alarm, but she wasn't able to see her sister, and she didn't know what to do.

Nyree was sitting out of sight of the door rocking back and forth while talking to herself, she was in deep concentration and didnt notice the first time that Acacia had knocked on the door. After hearing a second knock, Nyree stopped rocking and lay down on the ground trying to keep herself out of sight for as long as possible. She slowly made her way towards the door while lying down; still muttering to herself. Once she reached the door Nyree jumped up into view and pressed her hands onto the glass trying to get through the door while shouting nonsence.
Once Nyree noticed it was her twin, she calmed down a little and began watching her; wondering wether she was going to come inside. Hidden in Nyree's pocket was a small but sharp peice of glass which she had hidden from the guards and used to get blood from herself to drink when she couldnt get some from anyone else; which was often. "My name is Amethyst" She said suddenly speaking for the first time, however her voice wasnt kind instead it was kind of harsh. When were people going to learn that her name was Amethyst not Nyree?

She jumped a little, her sister's rather sudden appearance bringing her attention back to the door. It always made her sad to see her, she no longer really looked like herself. She wanted to shout at her, she wanted to tell her that she'd come to see her sister Nyree, not this Amethyst person. She didn't though. She didn't respond to that bit. She wanted to go into her sister's room, but what with the door being locked, and knowing that it probably wasn't a good idea, she refrained.
'I brought you some of your things from home,' she said trying to sound bright, holding up the package for her to see. 'They said that if you want to read the books you'll have to be supervised. There's one of your favourite tops in there too, they said you can wear it if you're good.' There was also some banana bread in there, she didn't tell Nyree that though. Amethyst wasn't a fan of human food, and she didn't want to enrage her. 'I had to take the safety pins out of the top though,' she added, thinking back to the items that were in the bag. She hoped Amethyst wouldn't mind that too much. 'One of the teachers sent you some work, if you'd like it, she just thought it would stop you getting bored.'

Nyree moved her head slightly to the side as she watched her twin, barely noticing what she was saying only a few words got through to her, the main one was home which made Nyree think of her parents. Nyree had to stop herself from scowling at that point. The longer that Nyree stared, the more she wanted to break the glass down and soon began smashing her hand against it in an attempt to break it. After awhile she gave up and pulled out her peice of glass then began trying to break through the glass by scratching it down.
"Ac-acia" She said slowly moving her hand holding the peice of glass down to the lower part of the window, her eyes had a sort of wild but sad look in them although it wasnt as effective because she was still trying to scratch the glass down. Suddenly a thought came to Nyree, what if she could manage to bring Acacia into the room then escape and pretend to be Acacia, they were identical twins but by the time they found out Nyree had escaped she would have disappeared somewhere, where they wouldnt beable to find her. Although Nyree would have to do it during the night,as a vampire she couldnt go out into the sunlight without getting hurt.

Acacia stopped speaking and winced a little as her twin puncihed the glass that was between them... she wondered if it was because the twin wanted to hurt her? She hoped not... 'Stop it, you'll hurt yourself,' she said with true concern in her eyes. But her next words gave away her true feelings. 'Ny,' she said softly. 'If you get better, you don't have to stay in this place...' she said hoping to reason with her. 'None of us like the fact that you're here,' she said, though she and her parents rarely spoke of Nyree. It was as if her very name was forbidden.
'I won't be able to come and visit again until next week,' she said with a sigh, hoping to change the subject. She sure was sighing a lot when she was here, but whenever she visited her sister, she felt less and less hopeful of her homecoming. She began to wonder if her sister would ever be well again?
She desperately wanted to be close to her sister again, she felt as though part of her was missing knowing that her sister was so far away. The distance wasn't just physical though, the distance between them was something else, something she couldn't put her finger on...
'Please come hom soon Ny,' she said pleading with her. 'This place weirdes me out, it must give you an odd feeling too,' she said, hoping to give her another reason to get better as quickly as possible.

Nyree stopped trying to scratch the glass down and stared at Acacia for a moment before darting suddenly towards the door handle and began trying to break the handle off because the door wouldnt open for her. "Blood, Blood, BLOOD" She said starting off with a whisper and soon began shouting so loudly that it could be heard from down the hallway. "Give me blood now" She commanded as she started shaking, but was also trying to open the door. Her shaking increased as she tried to pull the door handle off. But the shaking came to a stop when she saw something else in the room, another human that wasnt actually there; it was just an hallucination. Quickly Nyree turned around and began running at full speed towards the human to jump on his back, however when she tried to jump onto him she fell onto the ground but didnt give up trying.
"Give up human" She shouted at the guy then opened her mouth wide to show her fangs, this time she began walking towards him slowly; however was still keeping an eye on Acacia incase she tried anything. The man waved goodbye to Nyree and disappeared from she sight suddenly making her look around feircely for him incase he was hiding from her, but was forced to believe after awhile that he had gone so she ran back over to the door to try and open it again, she wanted Acacia to come inside for a couple of reasons.

She took a quick step back, afraid that the door would come away from its hinges. Acacia couldn't bear to watch anymore. Her sister's condition was obviously as bad as she had originally feared, she didn't let on to Nyree that she was upset though. That could make things worse...
'I'll leave your things with your nurse,' she said with a deep breath, not letting her voice break. 'I promise I'll come visit you again soon,' she said, her eyes filled with sadness. 'Get better,' she said before turning and walking away, the weight of the world on her shoulders.
